The New England Quarter was a £200m urban regeneration project in Brighton. The aim of the redevelopment was to transform a largely vacant 15-acre area into a vibrant city 'quarter'.

Osborn Securities acquired 1-acre from owners Sainsbury's with the intention to maximise the potential development in line with the objectives of the regeneration project.

Planning permission was granted for a mixed hotel and office scheme, McAleer & Rushe and Jury's Doyle Hotel Group developed a 234 bed hotel with M&R also planning a Grade A office building of 30,000 sq ft, bringing urban commercial vitality to a previously under-used Brighton district. The hotel opened in January 2008.
